World Egg Day 世界鸡蛋日

Special dedicated days are set aside each year for mankind to appreciate and remember events or occasions. The most noticeable occasions Malaysians have been celebrating are the National Day, Labour Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and many more days. However, in many parts of the world, a Friday on the second week of each October month has been dedicated to table eggs. Yes! The delicious eggs we grew up on. The brown shell oval shaped- pack of nutritious goodness we can depend on for mental and physical growth. Eggs have been our food since time immemorial; many grew up to appreciate them, but a very minute minority vilified them.

这是一个每年特别设定给人类感激及回忆事件或时刻的日子。马来西亚人已经庆祝最显著的时节为国庆日、劳动节、母亲节、父亲节以及其他更多的节日。然而,在世界许多地方已经把每年十月份之第二个星期五奉为鸡蛋日。是的!就是那个我们依赖成长的美味鸡蛋。在椭圆形棕褐色的蛋壳内充满美好的营养,我们的精神及体格可依赖它增长。自古以来鸡蛋已经成为我们的食物;许多人成长后而感激它们,但是少数人则在一分钟便贬低它们。

9th October 2009is World Egg Day. This is the occasion some facts and figures are shared to reinforce our trusts on their complete wholesomeness.

2009年10月9日是世界鸡蛋日。这是分享一些事实及数据的时刻,以加强我们对鸡蛋完全有益健康的信任。


1. Versatile — delicious to eat irrespective of how we prepare them. They can be prepared fried, hard boiled, half boiled, use in baking and ingredient in meal preparation

1. 多样化吃法-无论怎样准备食用都美味。它们可以作煎、熟煮、半熟、烘焙蛋糕及菜肴材料。

2. High Nutrient Density — its content is densely packed with nutrients in relatively low calories; a suitable answer to weight problem

3. High Quality Protein — the protein quality is so high that scientist uses it as a benchmark to measure the protein quality of others. The amino acid building blocks are in correct proportion to the human body
